For The Love Of Stamps DT Samples - Safari Adventure

Hi all...time for my final blog post for Launch 5.  My last samples were made using the Safari Adventure stamp set, and these would make perfect cards for so many occassions.

This card was made using both the Safari Adventure and Say Cheese stamp sets.  I used the fab masking sheets (would def recommend buying these) to stamp various scenarios on 3 photos, and used Distress Inks to add some colour.  Distress Inks used - Vintage Photo, Salty Ocean, Bundled Sage and Tattered Rose.  Distress Markers used - Pumice Stone, Wild Honey and Frayed Burlap.

I just adore this wee card :-)  Very easy to make - simply stamp the elephant from the Safari Adventure set over a piece of white card stock, mat onto black card, and colour using Pumice Stone Distress Marker and Tattered Rose Distress Ink.  Stamp another elephant on spare card stock, colour in and cut out and cover him in Star Dust Stickles.  Use foam pads to adhere him to a strip of white card the same width as card blank, and stamp sentiment in Black Onyx Versafine Ink.

That's all my samples finished for Launch 5 For The Love Of Stamps.

Get your inks out, and get stamping...let's see what you come up with :-)

Happy crafting till next time.

For The Love Of Stamps DT Samples - Welcome Little One

Happy New Year everyone...here's to a happy healthy, and craft filled 2017 for us!  I've had a lovely time with my hubby and boys over the festive period but now time to get back to some crafting :-) I'm back with some of my For The Love Of Stamps DT samples and here is my first of 3 blog posts showing how I decided to use the fab stamp sets this time round,

We'll start with Welcome Little One....oh how cute this stamp set is, and it has everything you'll need to make the perfect card for that new little bundle of joy :-)

The above card was made using papers from the Perfectly Natural and Pretty Pastel pads, Welcome Little One stamp set, Onyx Black Versafine Ink and Distress Inks - Spun Sugar, Picked Raspberry, Vintage Photo.

Such a simple card to make but so effective!  Simply die cut a circle from the centre of a 7" x 5" card blank, and randomly using Versafine ink ,stamp buttons and pins over front of card, going off the edges. Tape a piece of twine to the back of aperture, and hang some pieces of baby clothing from it using a wet glue.  Make a slit in the bottom centre fold, and thread through some white organza ribbon and tie in a double knot.  Mat sentiment onto black card and use foam pads to stick to card.  Use Distress Inks (Tattered Rose, Picked Raspberry) to colour in buttons, pins and sentiment.

Very quick card to make using the stamp set, and Chipped Sapphire Distress Ink.  Add some silver mirri card and white organza ribbon and it's finished.

Hope you like what I came up with using these fab stamps, and if you have any comments please do get in touch!

Happy Crafting peeps
