Bee Crafty Thursday DT post - BEAUtanicals sample for Ally Pally

Hi bloggers, it's Thursday so that means it's my turn to share another DT project for Bee Crafty on the Buzzy Goings On At Bee Crafty blog with you all.  Last week I showed you the first sample I made for the BEAUtanicals new launch show at Ally Pally, and this week I have decided to show another of my favourites.  These stamps are absolutely stunning, and make such an impact on a card.

What you will need to make this card -
What to do -
  • Cut a square of black card slightly smaller than the card blank, and a square of white slightly smaller than this.
  • Take the white square, and using masking tape mask off a section.
  • Using a blending tool, blend the various DIs from top to bottom starting with the lightest down to the darkest.
  • Next using Versafine ink, stamp the large BEAUtanical on the blended section.
  • Stamp the sentiment in the bottom right hand corner, and use the DIs to colour in the letters of FLOWER.
  • Mat the white square on to the black, and adhere both to the card blank using glue.
That's me finished for this weeks Bee Crafty DT post.  As always if you have any comments then do get in touch.

Until next time

Thursday Bee Crafty DT post - One of my Ally Pally samples

Hi everyone, for this weeks blog post at Buzzy Goings On at Bee Crafty I'm going to show you one of the first cards I made using the new stamps brought out by Bee Crafty for their recent Hochanda show at Ally Pally.  This was my first time making samples for them as a member of their DT and I was so nervous.  I decided to just stick with my usual style of crafting and came up with this.

What you need to make this card -
What to do -
  • Cut a piece of white card slightly smaller than the card blank and using the blending tool,  blend some Wilted Violet DI around the edges.
  • Cut another piece of white card slightly smaller again, and using Wilted Violet DI, stamp flower heads randomly over the entire piece - ensuring you go off the edges to give a balanced look.  Mat this to the piece of card above, and adhere to the card blank using glue.
  • On a spare piece of white card, use DI again to stamp another flower head.  Cut this out.
  • Cut a piece of card the same length as the stamped piece, and approx 1" wide.  Take the Never Regret stamp and ink up only the word Smile with DI, and stamp this .  Blend DI around the edges and adhere to the card using foam pads.
  • Finish off by adding the cut out flower head to the sentiment strip using glue, and applying some Stickles to the petals.
So that's my first ever Bee Crafty DT sample completed, and I hope it was ok!  I'll share another one of my samples next week.

If you have any questions or comments then please do get in touch as I'd love to hear from you.

Crafty hugs, Lorre-Anne x

Thursday Bee Crafty DT Post - Life Is A Canvas

Hi bloggers, I'm back with my regular Thursday DT post for Bee Crafty.  I hope you've all had a good week?  It's the Easter holidays up here in Scotland so the boys are having a great time out playing with their friends...which gives Mummy time to do the housework (or craft!! ;-))

For this weeks card I decided to use my Dylusions paints, and the fabulous Life Is A Canvas stamp...what a brilliant sentiment.

Below is a photo of the card.

What you will need to make the card -

What you need to do -

  • Cut 2 pieces of white card, one slightly smaller than card blank, and one slightly smaller again.
  • Take the largest of the cut white card, and using a baby wipe rub some Calypso Teal around the edges of the card.  Seat aside to dry.
  • Take the other piece of white card and using a baby wipe apply some Black Marble over the entire card, set aside to dry (this only takes a few minutes).
  • Take the empty toilet roll tube, and using scissors, cut it into 3 sections.
  • Once the black card is dry, take one of the cut tube sections, and dip it in Lemon Zest and randomly stamp over - remember to go off the side of the card.  Repeat this with Bubblegum Pink, Tangerine Dream, and Calypso Teal.  Don't be afraid to overlay the stamping.
  • Once dry, mat this onto the Teal edged card, and adhere both to the card blank using glue.
  • On a spare piece of white card, stamp the sentiment using Versafine Ink, and when dry cut into 3 sections.
  • Cut 3 pieces of white card slightly larger than the stamped sentiments, and colour each with a different Dylusions Paint.  When dry, mat the sentiment on to them.
  • Attch the sentiment to the card using foam pads.
That's it for this week's project, if you have any questions or comments then please do let me know.

Take care, and happy crafting!

My 1st DT post for Bee Crafty

Hi everyone, as I'm one of the new Bee Crafty DT members I will be doing a regular post on the Buzzy Goings on at Bee Crafty blog every Thursday, and I hope you'll drop by and let me know what you think.

For my first post I decided to make the card below as these were 2 of the first stamps I purchased from the fabulous Bee Crafty, and what got me hooked :-)

What you will need to make this card -

What to do -

  • Cut Black & white cardstock to the following measurements ( 2 black squares at 6 1/8" x 6 1/8" and 5 7/8" x 5 7/8", and 2 white squares at 6" x 6" and 5 6/8" x 5 6/8")
  • Take the largest of the white squares and blend Peacock Feathers around all the edges.  Mat this on to the largest black square, and glue both to the card blank.
  • Take the other white square and add a strip of masking tape down the middle.  Take Salty Ocean DI and blend from the bottom to just below halfway.  Next blend some Peacock Feathers from the top down, and blend both colours where they meet.  Remove the masking tape.
  • Using Versafine ink, stamp the dandelion at the bottom of the inked section.
  • Spritz some water on to your fingertips, and flick it over the inked side of the card. Leave for a few seconds, then blot with kitchen paper.  This will give the splattered detail as shown below.

  • Stamp the sentiment in the top right corner of the card, again using Versafine Ink.
  • Mat this onto the remaining black square, and adhere to the card using foam pads.
Well that's it for this post, I'd love to hear what you think so please do leave me a comment.

Happy crafting!

For The Love Of Stamps DT Samples - Shake it baby!

Hi Bloggers....I had the opportunity to get to play with the free stamps and papers supplied with the latest issue of the For The Love Of Stamps magazine by Hunkydory.  These stamps and papers are fabulous!!!!  The colours and images on the papers are stunning, and a perfect match for the stamps. They are also the perfect accompaniment for the Rock'n'Roll stamps also launched this March.

The above card is a 6"x6".  I choose some papers and used them to create the background.  I used Onyx Black Versafine ink to stamp two large milkshakes and masked off the top using masking sheets, then stamped extra toppings and straws.  Distress inks (Squeezed Lemonade, Candied Apple, Walnut Stain, and Salty Ocean) were used to colour in the milkshakes, then I cut them out, and used foam pads to attach them to the centre of the card.  I finished off by adding a stamped sentiment.

If you decide to buy the latest magazine I don't think you'll be disappointed with the stamps and papers, and I know I will definitely be making some more cards using them.

Thanks for taking the time to read this latest blog post, and as always, if you have any questions then please do comment.

Be back soon with some more of my makes.

For The Love Of Stamps DT Samples - Pretty Princesses

Hi everyone, these are my final samples made with the stamps from the latest For The Love Of Stamps by Hunkydory launch... this time I have used the Pretty Princesses stamps set and masks. Any little princess is bound to love these cute stamps, and they will make some very special cards.

First up is this 6"x4" card.  I cut black card slightly smaller than the blank, and white card slightly smaller than this.  Taking the white card, I used Versafine ink to randomly stamp frogs, then used Shabby Shutters DI to stamp some ivy and 'sent with love' all over.  I took a water brush and blended some of the ink around the ivy.  I used some Twisted Citron DI to colour in the frogs, and Wild Honey for his crown.  Next I stamped the princess and another frog on white card, coloured in, and cut both out.  I cut a strip of white card the same size as my background and approximately 1" wide, and stamped a sentiment towards the right hand side.  I attached the princess and frog using foam pads, and finished off by adding some Star Dust Sickles to the crowns, and Princess' dress and wand.

The card above is a 5"x5", and I decided to create a scene using the stamps this time.  I started by stamping the horse, and princess, then masked them off before stamping the castle.  I then masked the castle off, and used a blending tool to blend Shabby Shutters DI around the bottom of the card, and Salty Ocean around the top.  I removed the masking paper, and coloured in the castle, horse and Princess using my Distress Inks (Spun Sugar, Picked Raspberry, Tea Dye, Walnut Stain and Bundled Sage).  I matted this on to some silver mirror card, and adhered this to the card blank using glue.  I finished off by adding a sentiment, and some Star Dust and Raspberry Tart Stickles.

The next card I made was this 6"x6".  I cut some pink stripey paper from the Splendid Stripes paper pad, slightly smaller than the card blank, and adhered using glue.  I cut a square of white card slightly smaller than this, and using Spun Sugar DI, blended ink over the entire card.  I next took the mask and blended more Spun Sugar through certain sections, giving a very subtle look to my background.  I adhered this to the card blank.  Next I cut a smaller square of stripey paper, and white card slightly smaller than this.  On the white card, I used Versafine ink to stamp the Princess, then masked her off, before stamping the carriage behind her.  I coloured the image in using my Distress Inks (Spun Sugar, Picked Raspberry, Wild Honey, Salty Ocean, and Pumice Stone), and matted this onto the striped paper, and adhered this to the centre of the card using foam pads.  The sentiment was stamped on to white card, cut out, and matted onto more striped paper, and using foam pads was attached to the bottom of the card.  I finished off by tying some hot pink organza ribbon around the top of the card, and added some Star Dust and Raspberry Tart Stickles to the carriage, Princess and sentiment.

That's my samples finished for this launch, and I hope you've enjoyed seeing them.

Please do leave me a comment letting me know what you think.

Take Care,
Hugs, Lorre-Anne x

For The Love Of Stamps DT Samples - Rock n roll

Hi everyone, back with my next set of samples made using the stamps from the For The Love Of Stamps launch by Hunkydory.  These were made using the Rock'n'Roll set of stamps and corresponding mask.  This is going to be such a useful set of stamps for all those music lovers in your life..or some of the golden oldies ;-)

This card is a 7"x7".  I cut some black paper (Monochrome Paper Pad) slightly smaller than the card blank, and cut some white card slightly smaller than this.  I used Onyx Black Versafine to randomly stamp records, music notes and milkshakes over the entire white card, then coloured in using my Chameleon pens (BL3, RD4, YL2, YG3, and BK4), I then used glue to adhere this onto the black paper.  I cut a strip of card the same length as my background card and approximately 1.5", and using Versafine, stamped a sentiment and some music notes.  This was adhered to a black piece of paper slightly larger in size, and adhered to just below the centre of the card using foam pads.  I stamped the jukebox onto spare cardstock, coloured it in again with my Chameleon pens, and cut out.  To finish I used foam pads to stick this to the card.

I decided to make a DL card this time round, and this was a nice simple card to make!  I cut some black card slightly smaller than the card blank, and some red spotty paper from the Polka Dot paper pad.  I stamped a sentiment on to some white card, cut it out, and matted this on to some red, then black card.  I cut a rectangle of white card approximately 3"x4", and using Versafine ink, stamped the jukebox in the centre.  This was matted on to red and black card.  I coloured in the jukebox using Distress Inks (Black Soot, Candied Apple & Old Paper) and Brushed Pewter Distress Mica spray.  This panel, and the sentiment,  was adhered to the card using foam pads.  I finished off by adding some Glossy Accents to parts of the jukebox, and tying some black organza ribbon around the card.

A 6"x6" card.  I cut some black card slightly smaller than the card blank, and a piece of white card slightly smaller than this.  I blended Peacock Feathers and Picked Raspberry all over the white card, then I took the mask, and blended Peacock Feathers around the outside of the card, and through the lightning bolts.  I used Picked Raspberry to blend through the music notes.  I stamped the jukebox onto spare white cardstock, coloured in using the DIs, cut out and matted onto some black cardstock.  This was adhered using foam pads to the centre of the card, as was a stamped sentiment.  I finished off the card by tying some black organza ribbon around the side of the card.

That's my Rock'n'Roll samples completed..hope you liked them!  Thank you so much for taking the time to look at my blog, please leave me a comment letting me know what you thought.

Until next time....Byeeee!

For The Love Of Stamps DT Samples - Jam-Packed With Love

Hi bloggers it's time for the latest launch of stamps and masks from For The Love Of Stamps by Hunkydory (Launch 8).  One of the sets I received this time was the fabulous Jam-Packed with Love...now this isn't normally my type of stamp set, but I am completely converted!  This set, and the corresponding mask, are amazing and make some really cute cards.

First up is this 6"x4" card.  I cut black card slightly smaller than the card blank, and white card slightly smaller than this.  I blended Seedless Preserves Distress Ink all over the white card, then taking the mask, I blended more through the runny jam section towards the top of my card, and then blended more through the blackberry sections - randomly over the card .  I added Glossy Accents to the entire section of runny jam, and let it dry.  I matted this on to the black card, and adhered this to the card blank with glue.  On white card I stamped the jam jar using Onyx Black Versafine ink, and masked it off so that I could then stamp the jar full of berries (this was done by also masking off the berries before stamping another set).  I also took a small piece of purple striped paper from the Splendid Stripes paper pad, and using Versafine, stamped the lid of the jam jar - I cut this out and paper pieced it onto the original jam jar.  Using foam pads, I stuck the jar to the centre of my blended background.  I finished off my card by stamping a sentiment and spoon (coloured in using Pumice Stone DI), cut both out, and added to the jam jar with foam pads.

This is another 6"x4" card, but it has been cut down from a 6"x6" .  The background was created by splashing Distress ink mixed with water randomly over the entire card front - DIs used were Seedless Preserves, Picked Raspberry and Ripe Persimmon.  I cut a strip of white card the same length as my card blank, and approx 1.5" wide, and blended Seedless Preserves DI around all the edges.  This was then glued to the centre of the card blank.  Using Onyx Black Versafine I stamped 3 small jam jars, and stamped a different sentiment on each.  I used the DIs to colour in each jar, and used Squeezed Lemonade to colour the labels.  Foam pads were used to attach the jars to the card, and it was finished off by adding a stamped sentiment in the bottom corner.

The above card is a 6"x6".  I cut red paper slightly smaller than the card blank, and green striped paper slightly smaller than this (both from the Splendid Stripes Paper Pad), and adhered to the card blank using wet glue.  I cut 2 ovals, one white and one from green paper, and matted white onto green with glue.  The jam jar was stamped using Versafine ink, and masked off, then I stamped strawberries inside the jar, again masking off certain ones before stamping more.  I used my Chameleon pens (RD4 & YG3) to colour in the strawberries.  I paper pieced the lid of the jar by stamping the top of the jar onto the red striped paper, and cut this out, and glued to the jar.  This was finished off by tying a piece of twine around the top, and attaching the stamped label.  The card was finished off by adding a stamped sentiment, and some red pearls.

Thanks for taking the time to have a read of my blog, and if you want to let me know what you think of my cards, then please do leave me a comment....I love to hear from you.

Take care

What you need to make this card -
  • 7" x 5" white card blank

  1. Cut 2 pieces of white card, one slightly smaller than the card blank and the other sightly smaller than this.
  2. On the largest piece, blend Seedless Preserves around the entire card.
  3. On the smaller piece, use the DIs to randomly stamp the words and hearts over entire card.  Use a water brush to colour the hearts, and finish by blending Hickory Smoke around the edges of the card.
  4. Mat the stamped card on to the purple edged piece of card and add to the card blank using glue.
  5. Use Hickory Smoke DI again to stamp the large camera, use the water brush to blend the ink around the parts of the camera that should be shadowed.  Cut out.

Bee Crafty time

Hi everyone, thought it was time for another tutorial and I have decided to use my Bee Crafty stamps.

What you need -
  • Bee Crafty Backdrop Frames Style Wire Heart
  • Bee Crafty Style Wire Borders Set
  • Bee Crafty WORDage Love stamp
  • Bee Crafty Inkables Template (Heart)
  • Bee Crafty Inkables Template (Oval Lace)
  • Candied Apple Distress Ink
  • Onyx Black Versafine Ink
  • Blending tool and foam pad
  • 6" x 6" white card blank
  • White and black card stock
  • Glossy Accents
  • Star Dust Stickles

Position the heart Inkable over a piece of white card slightly smaller than the card blank and blend Candied Apple through the template.

Once finished it should look like the image above when you remove the template.

Next, take the oval lace template, and blend some more Candied Apple through this.

When finished it should look like the image above.

Ink up the large Style Wire heart with Onxy Black Versafine ink and stamp this in the centre of the red heart.

Choose a border from the Style Wire Borders set - a tip I find useful is to balance my stamp block with another stamp on either side of the one I want to use!  This ensures that the block won't rock during use, and should result in an even stamp.  Ink your border up using Versafine and stamp along the top and bottom of the card.

Mat this on to a piece of black card which is slightly larger.

Using Versafine, stamp the word Love in the centre of the heart.
Attach to the front of the card blank using glue.

Using Glossy Accents follow the writing and leave to dry.

Finish off by adding some Stickles around the Style Wire Heart.

That's it....I hope you like the finished card and I hope you'll have a go at making it yourself.  Please ask if you have any questions, and I'd love if you'd leave me a comment letting me know what you think.

Hugs, Lorre-Anne x

  • Say Cheese stamp set
  • Onyx Black Versafine ink

  2. Repeat this with the 'We Click' sentiment using Candied Apple DI.
  3. Tie a piece of black organza ribbon around the left hand side of the card.
  4. On spare card stock stamp the photo image using Black Soot, cut out and mat onto black card.  Using Versafine, stamp the heart into the center of stamped photo, and colour in using Candied Apple.  Stamp the sentiment on the photo using Versafine.
  5. Stamp the main sentiment using Versafine, cut out, and mat on to black card.
  6. Add both image and sentiment to card using foam pads.

For The Love Of Stamps DT Samples - Delightful Decorating

Hi all...time to show my samples from this latest launch of For The Love Of Stamps goodies by Hunkydory ...next up is the fabulous Delightful Decorating!  I really love this set of stamps, and had to stop myself after 5 samples or I could've kept going!!

One of my fave samples I have made....Simply blended Distress Ink (Ripe Persimmon, Mermaid Lagoon & Squezzed Lemonade) through the splatter marks on the mask, stamped out three paint pots and coloured those in using DI, and added some glossy accents to make the paint look realistic!  Finished off with a sentiment.

Another really easy card to make...used Distress Ink (Wilted Violet, Salty Ocean & Peacock Feathers) to stamp the strips of paint.  Stamped 3 rollers using Versafine, and coloured the pads using DI, then cut them out.  I used foam pads to adhere these to the lines of paint, and finished off with a sentiment.

Decided to get the Brushos out for this card...I love my Brushos, they are fabulous to work with and you can create some amazing backgrounds with them!  I sprinkled some Ost Blue, Brilliant Red, Lemon and Leaf Green on to white card, and spritzed with water to create this background.  I thought it fitted the sentiment, and I finished off with 2 stamped paintbrushes.

I like the freshness of this card, and it was made simply by blending Distress Ink (Twisted Citron and Squeezed Lemonade) all over a square of white card.  I then took the mask, and continued to blend Twisted Citron through the various sections.  The main topper was made by stamping the paint pot and lid using Versafine, and was coloured in using DI.  I matted all on to black card, and this really made the card pop.

This card took a bit longer to make, and the background was achieved by stamping various images using both Versafine ink and Seedless Preserves DI.  I also blended some Hickory Smoke DI through the dots section on the corresponding mask.  To achieve the various colour blends on the colour chart I simply varied the amount of water I added to the Seedless Preserves DI.  I finished of by adding a banner to the bottom of the card, on which I stamped a paint pot and the lid, on either side of the sentiment.

I could have continued making cards using this amazing stamp set, and probably will do so as I think it is just perfect for those New Home cards...I hope you like seeing my samples as much as I enjoyed making them.

For The Love Of Stamps DT Samples - Pizza Passion

Hi all....I'm back with some new samples from the latest For The Love Of Stamps launch (by Hunkydory). First up is Pizza Passion, perfect for all those pizza lovers out there!

Simple card made using the pizza toppings as a background, and the pizza and sentiment as the main image.  Everything was coloured in using Chameleon pens

The above card took a little longer to make as I had to stamp out, and colour in, 23 pizza slices!  I drew a rough outline of a heart on some white card and glued each of the pizza slices to this, and trimmed off rough edges.  Again I used my Chameleon pens to colour in, and finished off with a sentiment and some Nuvo drops.

The majority of this card was made using the corresponding mask, and Distress Ink (Tea Dye, Twisted Citron and Mustard Seed) was blended though various sections.  A stamped pizza and sentiment finished off the card.

I hope you liked my chosen samples, and if you have any comments I'd love to hear them.

Be back soon with my next post featuring some of the new stamp sets and masks.

For The Love Of Stamps DT samples - Hoppy Easter

Back again with my second blog post For The Love Of Stamps by Hunkydory http://www.hunkydorycrafts.co.uk/ launch - this time using the Hoppy Easter stamp set and mask - this set is ideal for getting all those Easter cards done but also could be used for general cards too as there are a couple of sentiments there suitable for everyday cards!

I opted for a 5" x 5" card this time, and thought it would be nice to go for pinks and purples this time round.  I cut some white card slightly smaller than the actual card, and randomly blended Milled Lavender and Tattered Rose Distress Inks around it, I then took the mask and blended some Milled Lavender through the chevron markings (again randomly over the card).  I matted this on to a piece of purple paper (Pretty Pastel paper pad) slightly larger in size, and glued this to the card blank.  I cut another piece of white card, the same length as background and the width I liked, and using Versafine stamped eggs over it.  I coloured the eggs in using my Chameleon pens ( PK3 and PR4), and matted this on to some purple paper too - I tied some white organza ribbon around this panel and attached it to the card blank with foam pads.  I stamped the bunny using Versafine and coloured it in using the Chameleon pens, cut it out, and used foam pads to attach it to the panel.  The card was finished off by adding a sentiment.

I love this card and is one of the ones which doesn't scream Easter but shows how versatile this stamp set is.  It's a 6" x 4" card and was so simple to make.  I stamped the sentiment using Versafine ink randomly over the entire card blank front, and tied a piece of black organza ribbon around the top.  I took 2 of the white and silver oval die cuts and stamped the bunny on to the larger one, and the sentiment on to the smaller one.  I coloured the rabbits ears and feet using Spun Sugar DI, and his bow tie using my Chameleon marker (BK4).  The ovals were attached to the card blank using foam pads.

My final card is a 7" x 5" card, and I thought 'why not have a bunny juggling Easter Eggs!'.  I cut white card stock slightly smaller than the card blank, and another piece slightly smaller than this piece.  I took the larger piece and blended Peacock Feathesr DI around the edges.  On the other piece of card I used Versafine to randomly stamp eggs and flowers all over, then coloured them in using Spiced Marmalade, Squeezed Lemonade and Peacock Feathers - I then matted this on to the larger piece using glue, and attached to the card blank.  I cut another 2 pieces of white card stock ( one measuring 4 3/4" x 3 3/4" and one slightly smaller) and took the larger piece and again blended Peacock Feathers around the edges.  I took the smaller piece and stamped the bunny at the bottom, and the sentiment at the top.  On scrap white card I stamped 9 small eggs, coloured them in then cut them out.  These were attached around the bunny using foam pads to look as if he is juggling.  This panel was matted onto the larger panel, then attached to card using foam pads.  I finished off the card by adding my usual Star Dust Stickles to give a wee bit of sparkle.

That's all my samples finished for this months launch, I hope you liked them and will have a go at making some of your own.  Please do get in touch to let me know what you think.

Till next time...Happy Crafting!

For The Love Of Stamps DT samples - Dino Friends

Hi everyone....it's time for the latest launch from For The Love Of Stamps by Hunkydory http://www.hunkydorycrafts.co.uk/.  My first blog will be showing the samples I made using the fantastic Dino Friends stamp set and mask - these little guys are so cute and I absolutely love the 'You Don't Look A Day Over Prehistoric' sentiment!

The first card I made was the 7" x 7" shown above.  I cut white card stock slightly smaller than the card blank, and another piece measuring slightly over 4" x 4".  Distress inks used this time were Candied Apple, Black Soot, Spiced Marmalade, Shabby Shutters, and Bundled Sage.  I randomly placed the mask over the card stock and blended through the word DANGER using Black Soot, I then repeated this, blending Candied Apple through the scratch marks.  I finished this background by stamping the ferns in Shabby Shutters, then matted it onto a piece of black card and glued this to the card blank.  On the smaller piece of white card I started by stamping the T-Rex in Versafine (Onyx Black) and then masked him off, and stamped the Stegosaurus beside him, I then masked off this dinosaur and stamped the large dinosaur at the back.  I added the small nest of eggs and then coloured everything in using the Distress Inks - I then matted this onto black card too, and used foam pads to attach it to the centre of the card blank.  To finish off I stamped both sentiments using Versafine, cut them out and matted both onto black cards and added them to the card with some foam pads.

This is a little 6" x 4" card and I personally love the simplicity of it.  I stamped 3 dinosaurs onto some white card and coloured them in using Shabby Shutters, Spiced Marmalade and Candied Apple - I then cut them out.  I cut a strip of white card measuring roughly 6 " x 1" and stamped dino feet on it using Versafine Ink, and matted this on to a piece of black card, then glued this on to the left hand side of the card blank.  I stamped out the fab sentiment, and matted this also on to black card, and used foam pads to add it to the top of the card.  I finished off by sticking my dinosaurs to the card and adding some Star Dust Stickles.

These stamps were so much fun to use and I will definitely be making some more cards with them....I hope you enjoyed seeing how my samples were made and as always please do get in touch if you have any questions or have any comments.

Happy Crafting!

For The Love Of Stamps DT Samples - Safari Adventure

Hi all...time for my final blog post for Launch 5.  My last samples were made using the Safari Adventure stamp set, and these would make perfect cards for so many occassions.

This card was made using both the Safari Adventure and Say Cheese stamp sets.  I used the fab masking sheets (would def recommend buying these) to stamp various scenarios on 3 photos, and used Distress Inks to add some colour.  Distress Inks used - Vintage Photo, Salty Ocean, Bundled Sage and Tattered Rose.  Distress Markers used - Pumice Stone, Wild Honey and Frayed Burlap.

I just adore this wee card :-)  Very easy to make - simply stamp the elephant from the Safari Adventure set over a piece of white card stock, mat onto black card, and colour using Pumice Stone Distress Marker and Tattered Rose Distress Ink.  Stamp another elephant on spare card stock, colour in and cut out and cover him in Star Dust Stickles.  Use foam pads to adhere him to a strip of white card the same width as card blank, and stamp sentiment in Black Onyx Versafine Ink.

That's all my samples finished for Launch 5 For The Love Of Stamps.

Get your inks out, and get stamping...let's see what you come up with :-)

Happy crafting till next time.
