For The Love Of Stamps DT samples - Out Of This World

I'm are my final DT samples for this launch using the wonderful space set of stamps....this is exactly the type of stamps I was needing in my life, suitable for all the birthday cards I need to make for my 2 wee boys school friends.  The stamps in this set are amazing, and perfect for creating scenes in your cards.  I had so much fun making these cards, and loved getting inky creating the deep space scenes....I hope you enjoy seeing my creations.

To make this card you will need :- a 6"x4" white card blank, black and white card stock, Out Of This World stamp set, Onyx Black Versafine Ink, Distress Inks - Spiced Marmalade, Picked Raspberry, Peacock Feathers, and Squeezed Lemonade.  Cut a piece of white card stock slightly smaller than your card blank, and stamp 4 rows of 4 aliens using Versafine Ink.  Colour each of them using the Distress Inks and a water brush.  Mat this on to a slightly larger piece of black card, and adhere to the front of the card blank using double sided tape.  Stamp the sentiment on to white card , mat this onto black card, and colour in the WORLD with the same DIs.  Adhere the sentiment banner with foam pads.

To make this card you will need :- a 6"x6" white card blank, white card stock, silver mirri card, white die cut circle, Onyx Black Versafine Ink, Out Of This World mask and stamp set, Distress Inks - Chipped Sapphire, Squeezed Lemonade, Spiced Marmalade, Salty Ocean, Candied Apple, and Distress Mica Spray in Brushed Pewter.  Stamp the rocket, aliens, and spaceship using versafine.  Colour in using DIs and Mica spray, then cut out.  Hold circle die cut around the bottom of a square of white card, and blend Chipped Sapphire DI around the whole card.  Remove the circle, and blend Squeezed Lemonade around circle left on card, using the mask to blend further ink through craters.  Sprinkle some water over the blue inked area, and blot with kitchen paper to give the impression of stars.  Also use a paint brush to flick some Brushed Pewter Mica Spray around to give a 'space' feel to the card, adhere this to a square of silver mirri card, and use double sided tape to adhere this to the card blank.  Stamp sentiment onto white card, cut out, and mat on to silver mirri card.  Adhere this to the top right corner of card with foam pads.  Use foam pads to adhere the various space elements to the card.

To make this card you will need :- a 6"x6" white card blank, circle die, white card stock, Out Of This World stamp set, Onyx Black Versafine ink, Distress Mica Spray Brushed Pewter, Distress Inks - Chipped Sapphire, Candied Apple, Salty Ocean, and Spiced Marmalade.  Die cut a circle from the front of card blank, and blend Chipped Sapphire around the die cut circle.  Randomly stamp stars, moon, Blast Off and 1,2,3 over the front of the card using Chipped Sapphire - making sure to go off the edges.  Stamp out the rocket, astronaut and aliens using Versafine and colour in with DIs, then cut out.  Take the die cut circle and randomly stamp stars over this, also using Chipped Sapphire - adhere this to the inside of the card (in the centre so you can see it through the circle aperture) using glue.  Adhere the rocket, and astronaut to the front of the card at the bottom of the circle, and stick both aliens upside down at the top so it looks like they are peeping out.  Finish off by stamping the sentiment in Chipped Sapphire, blending a little of it around the edges, and sticking to the centre of the circle.
