Some fun with Visable Image

Hi all

Sorry for such a long delay between blogs but it has been so busy here what with the school holidays then trying to get the kids organised for going back to school - but back to school they are and I am free to blog as much as I like :-)

This time around I am going to be having some fun with some fab stamps from Visable Image.....I decided to use the one stamp and one sentiment stamp as I wanted to we how many different looks I could get solely using two stamps.

I decided to use different techniques including stamping, blending with distress inks, heat embossing, gilding flakes and glossy accents.

These are the 2 stamp sets I have decided to use - aren't they fab!

The above cards were made using various colours of Brushos to create the backgrounds.  I sprinkled various colours of Brushos onto white card stock then sprayed with water - if you haven't tried Brushos yet I'd definitely recommend you give them a go - you can get sooooo many different looks! plus it's kinda cool watching the magic happen.  I then simply stamped the images using black ink and done a little matting and layering.

I love this card....so simple to make too!  I used some IndigoBlu flitter glue to stamp the image onto black card, and then added some gilding flakes.  I dabbed some flitter glue around the edge of the black card to make it look as if I had matted and layered onto corresponding card.

Some cards made using Distress Inks...I love how you can get such varying looks from one stamp just by changing the colours you use....fabulous!

For this card I used Distress Inks to create the background, then used the stem of the flower stamp to create the splodgy marks - a little bit of Stickles in the middle of the stamped flower finished it off.

Stamped image in Black  Distress Ink on Kraft card, and covered with Glossy Accents...matted and layered..done!

Again Distress Inks used to create the backgrounds and to stamp the images.

I hope you liked my crafty creations, please do leave me a comment to let me know what you think, or if you have any questions ask away.  Go on, pick up some ink and get stamping, it's great fun!!
