Bee Crafty DT post - Life Laugh

Hi bloggers, I'm back to share my weekly DT post for Bee Crafty, and I've went for quite a bright card this week.  I decided to get the Dylusions paints out, and I thought they'd look fab with the Banksy stamps.... hope you like it?

Materials
What to do
  • Cut black card slightly smaller than the card blank, and white card slightly smaller again.
  • Take the white card, and use a damp baby wipe to blend some Dylusions paints over it.  Dry using a heat tool, then blend some paint through the Dinkables randomly over the card.  Dry again using the heat tool, then use Versafine ink to stamp the Crackle randomly over the card.  Mat this to the black card, then glue to the card blank.
  • Use Versafine ink to stamp the girl, then use scissors to cut off her club.  Use foam pads to attach to the centre of the card.
  • Stamp the words Live & Laugh on to white card using Versafine ink, cut out and mat on to black card, and then attach to the card using foam pads.
I'll have a new card ready for you next week, until then head over to the Buzzy Goings on at Bee Crafty blog to see what my team mates have been getting up to.

Monday Bee Crafty DT post - Enjoy yourself

Hi everyone, for this weeks Bee Crafty DT project I'm sharing a card I made using the Colonel stamp from the Steampunk bundle I bought last year.... how fab is this gent!  I love him, and think he makes quite the impact.

Materials

What to do
  • I cut some black card slightly smaller than the card blank, and some white card slightly smaller again.
  • I smooshed some of the Oxides on my blending mat, spritzed with water and dragged the piece of white card through it.  I dried using my heat tool, and repeated it until I achieved the look I wanted.
  • I stamped the Colonel using Versafine ink, matted the white card on to black card before adhering to the card blank.
  • I finished by adding a stamped sentiment.
That's my project complete for this week, and I'll be back next Monday to share another card with you all... please head over to the Buzzy Goings on at Bee Crafty blog to see what my team mates have been making.

Monday Bee Crafty DT post - Achieve Greatness

Hi everyone, for my Bee Crafty DT project this week I'm sharing a card I have made using my Brushos... well one Brusho to be exact!  This background was created by sprinkling some Black Brusho on to a piece of white card and spritzing with water... I think it's pretty cool to see the small bursts of red and blue in the black!

Materials
What to do
  • Cut some white card slightly smaller than the card blank.
  • Sprinkle some Black Brusho over the piece of card, spritz with water and dry using a heat tool.
  • Stamp the girl using Versafine ink.
  • Stamp the sentiment using Versafine ink directly on to the card, and on to another piece of white card.  Cut out the writing from the white card, and use glue to adhere this over the writing on the Brusho background.
  • Take the paper distresser and distress all the edges of the card, blend some Black Soot Distress Ink around the edges then glue this to the card blank.
I really enjoyed making this card, and I think the Brusho background works really well with the stamps.  I'll be back next week with another card, until then head over to the Buzzy Goings on at Bee Crafty blog to see what my team mates have been getting up to.
