  • White 6" x 6" card blank
  • White cardstock
  • Silver mirri card

  • Friendship stamp
  • Distress Oxides (Bundled Sage, Faded Jeans)
What to do
  • Cut silver mirri card slightly smaller than the card blank, and white card slightly smaller again.
  • Take the white card and stamp both sizes of butterfly using both colours of Oxide.
  • Mat the white card to the mirri card, and then glue to the card blank.
  • Ink up the sentiment using both Oxides and then stamp on to white card, cut out and mat to mirri card.  Use foam pads to attach to the card blank.
That's my simple project complete for this week, I'll be back next week to share another DT project with you all.  Please pop past the Buzzy Goings on at Bee Crafty blog to see all the lovely things my teammates have been making.

Mama makes DT post - Cakes

Hi bloggers, I'm back to share another one of my Mama Makes DT cards with you all, and I'm back with the cakes.  I love how cute these wee cakes are, and the sentiments in this stamp set are fab! The sentiment I used this time is 'A party without cake is just a meeting'.... how true!

Materials
  • White 7" x 5" card blank
  • White card
  • Cake & Friends stamp set
  • Onyx Black Versafine ink
  • Kuretake Zig pens
  • Star Dust Stickles
  • Glue & Foam pads
What to do
  • Cut white card slightly smaller than the card blank.
  • Using Versafine ink, randomly stamp cakes all over the entire piece of card, ensuring you stamp off the edges to give a balanced look.
  • Colour in the cakes using the pens, and I used a very light grey colour to draw around the cakes, this makes them pop off the card a bit more.
  • Glue this piece of card to the card blank.
  • Finish by adding a panel with a stamped sentiment, and add some Stickles around the edges of the card.
I hope you like what I designed using this awesome stamp set, I'll be back soon to share some more of my makes with you all.

Until then Happy Crafting!!

  • Put the Distress inks on to a blending mat and spritz with water and drag the white card through it, dry with a heat tool and repeat until you get the look you want.
  • Use Versafine ink to stamp the sentiment down each side, and the balloon in the centre.
