Monday Bee Crafty DT post - Hochanda 'Prehistoric' samples

Hi everyone for this weeks Bee Crafty DT post I'm sharing the samples I have made for Bev & Sam's shows on Hochanda today.  Aren't these new stamps fab!!!

Monday Bee Crafty DT post - Love

Hi bloggers, for my Bee Crafty DT post this week I'm sharing a quick card made using the lovely BEAUtanicals Nettle Leaf stamp set.


Materials
  • White 6"x4" card blank
  • White card
  • BEAUtanicals Nettle Leaf stamp set
  • Distress Oxides (Gathered Twigs, Carved Pumpkin, Mowed Lawn)
  • Twine  
What to do
  • Cut white card slightly smaller than the card blank.
  • Place some of each Oxide on to a blending mat, spritz with water and drag the card through it.  Dry with a heat tool.
  • Ink up the nettle leaf with Mowed Lawn and stamp over the card.  Attach some twine to the card, and glue to the card blank.
  • Stamp the sentiment using Gathered Twigs and cut out.  Blend some more Gathered Twigs around the edges and attach to the card using foam pads.

Monday Bee Crafty DT post- Talent is good

Hi everyone, I'm back up on the Bee Crafty blog today sharing my latest DT project and today my much loved Steampunk Stories stamps are out again.  I was looking through all my stamp sets and came across my Music themed stamps and thought they'd work with the beautiful violinist... and here is my finished card! 


Materials
  • White 6" square card blank
  • White card
  • Steampunk Stories - Violinist
  • Music Soundwave - Dots
  • WORDage - Talent is good
  • Inkable - Welded music
  • Distress Oxides (Gathered Twigs, Cracked Pistachio)
  • white gel pen
What to do
  • Cut a square of white card slightly smaller then the card blank.
  • Put some of each Oxide on to a blending mat, spritz with water and drag the square of white card through it.  Dry with a heat tool.
  • Place the Inkable on the centre of the card and blend some Gathered Twigs through it.  
  • Use Cracked Pistachio to stamp a few sound waves on the card.
  • Blend some Gathered Twigs around the edges of this piece of card too, and then glue to the card blank.
  • Stamp the Violinist and sentiment on to some spare card and cut out.
  • Use a water brush to blend the ink around the violinist and use foam pads to attach to the card blank.
  • Blend some Gathered Twigs around the edges of the sentiment and affix to the card with foam pads.
  • Finish by adding some highlights to the card with a white gel pen.

Monday Bee Crafty DT post - Sunshine, freedom & a little flower

Hi everyone, it's Monday which means I have a new post up on the Bee Crafty blog and today I've been playing with the fab Doodle Art stamps again.


Materials
  • 6" square white card blank
  • Black & white card
  • Doodle Art stamp - XL Bird
  • A Little Flower stamp
  • Prismacolour pencils
  • Onyx Black Versafine ink
What to do
  • Cut black card slightly smaller than the card blank, and white card slightly smaller again.
  • Use Versafine ink to randomly stamp images.
  • Colour the flowers with pencils, and mat this card to the black.  Glue to the card blank.
  • Stamp the sentiment using Versafine, and colour the word 'flower'.  Affix to the card blank with foam pads.

Monday Bee Crafty DT post - Time

Hi everyone, I'm back on the Bee Crafty blog today to share a new DT project with you all, I've not used my pocket watch stamp for a while so thought it was about time I had a play with it.


Materials
  • White 6" card blank
  • Black & white card 
  • Distress Oxides (Fired Brick, Mustard Seed, Chipped Sapphire)
  • Onyx Black Versafine ink
  • Bee Crafty Art Stamps: Steampunk Stories - Pocket watch
  • WORDage - Time
  • Texture Discs
  • White gel pen
What to do
  • Cut black card slightly smaller than the card blank, and white card slightly smaller again.
  • Add some of each Oxide to a blending mat and spritz with water, drag the white card through it and then dry with a heat tool.
  • Ink up the pocket watch (avoiding the pendant at the top) using Versafine ink and stamp in the centre of the card.
  • Blend some Mustard Seed and Chipped Sapphire through the texture discs, and add some highlights with a white gel pen.
  • Stamp the dot border using Versafine ink, and then mat this to the black card and glue to the card blank.
  • Stamp the sentiment using Versafine ink, chop in to 2 pieces, mat to black card and attach to the card with foam pads.

Monday Bee Crafty DT post - Memories

Hi bloggers, I'm back up on the Bee Crafty blog today sharing a new DT project with you all.... the fabulous new Doodle Art range of stamps were launched in March 2019 and I absolutely love them so here is another card made using them.


Materials
  • 6" white square card blank
  • White card
  • Bee Crafty Art Stamps - Doodle Art Dragonfly regular
  • WORDage - The Best Thing About Memories
  • Distress Oxides (Picked Raspberry, Chipped Sapphire, Cracked Pistachio)
What to do
  • Cut white card slightly smaller than the card blank.
  • Put some of each Oxide on to a blending mat, spritz with water and drag the card through it.  Dry with a heat tool.
  • Stamp various images from the Dragonfly stamp set using all 3 colours of Oxide, and then blend some Chipped Sapphire around the edges. Glue to the card blank.
  • Stamp the sentiment using Chipped Sapphire and cut out.  Glue to the card blank. Create a shadow around the sentiment by using a water brush to drag some Chipped Sapphire around it.
